Who Are You?

I have friends and family who go to church, but I’m not one of them. However, asking questions doesn’t scare me.

They have a name-tag waiting for me at the front door. But what do I do between now and Sunday?

Attending Mass is (usually) on our weekly schedule. But life is busy with a family, and we already have a lot of obligations.

Cautiously Skeptical

There are a lot of good reasons to be skeptical of Christianity. There are even more bad reasons to be skeptical of Christianity.

We live in a society today that is guided by impulse, selfishness, and materialism. And we have the constant buzz of news, information, and social media.

Combined, these influences cause trouble in our relationships with one another, and it also gets in the way of our relationship with God.

Whether you believe in God or not, know that you are welcome here at Catholic Breakfast.  Everyday, we will serve up something fresh, something unlike what you’ll hear anywhere else.  Please give us 3 minutes a day!

If you do, we promise you’ll start to see results:

  • Better relationships with your friends and family.

  • The ability to make push away the chaos of expectation placed on you by a ever-shifting society.

  • A quiet time that is just for you to think about you’ve been, where you are, and where you are going.

Finally, we believe, that you’ll get to know the God who made you, loves you, and knows your name.

Looking to make serious spiritual gains?

Each week Fr Muir offers some protein-rich insight for rapid growth. Warning: not for the faint-hearted.

Fr. Muir has curated a number of relevant articles that may help you mature further in your faith:

Busy Busy Busy

Life is Busy.

Raising a family is fun, but it’s a lot of work too.

Some days flow effortlessly, yet most days are a constant struggle to pull the desperate pieces  of work, family, and friendships. Life doesn’t have to be “Pinterest Perfect,” but a little more peace would be welcomed!

Taking time each day to pray seems impossible.  The day is packed as it is! But we know, as Catholics, that God makes a way when there is no way.

Somehow, the math changes.  By taking 10 minutes in the morning to pray, your mind and your heart are better prepared for anything that comes your way:

  • More time to be focused on your work

  • More time to be attentive to your loved ones

  • More time to have peaceful prayer through the day instead of those circular thoughts that clutter your mind.

So what do you have to lose? Spend your morning coffee with use every day, and you’ll see the Holy Spirit working through you!
